About Me

My name is Diana Lara , I am a Mexican Jewelry Designer based in Paris, France.

Because my dream had always been to become a Jewelry & Accessory designer, I decided to travel to Italy where I studied for a master’s in “Accessory Design” at the Politecnico di Milano and took a Goldsmith course at the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in Milan.

After completing my master’s degree, I worked as a Jewelry Designer for an Italian contemporary jewelry brand in Milan called Manuganda, designing new collections from concept to the final piece (including 3D modeling and printing).

Furthermore, I was the winner of the Jewelry design contest called Mundo Imperial 2017 in Mexico, and that same year one of my jewelry pieces and eyewear designs were exhibited at Milano Design Week 2017 by the Politecnico di Milano.

Thanks to my strong skills with 3D software,freehand & digital drawing,and Adobe Creative Suite, I worked as a Jewelry Design Consultant for several jewelry brands in Italy, USA, China, and Latin America. In these roles, I’ve developed new collections from concept through to the final piece.

Life has granted me the opportunity to chart a new course in Paris, where I am currently fulfilling my dream of contributing to and learning from the renowned tradition of French “savoir-faire joaillier.” In my role as Designer 3D at the Design studio of Maison FRED, I sculpt the initial volumes of our new creations, playing a significant role in defining their aesthetic for both high jewelry and jewelry collections.
